Who we are

TSAP Scholarship Hub is a scholarship discovery service operated by TSAP Educational Services. This policy explains what information the Hub collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Information you give us

• Account details: when you create an account we store your email address and, if you provide it, your name. If you sign up with email and password, your password is handled by our authentication service and stored in hashed form — we never see or store it in plain text.
• Google sign-in: if you choose Continue with Google, we receive basic profile information from Google (such as your email address and name) to create and sign you in to your account. We do not receive your Google password.
• Scholarship preferences: if you fill in your preferences, we store your preferred study countries, nationality, degree levels, fields of study, funding preferences, and email alert settings (whether alerts are on and how often).
• Saved scholarships: when you save a scholarship, we store which scholarship you saved and when.

How we use your information

• To run your account, keep you signed in, and let you reset your password.
• To show Recommended Scholarships by comparing your preferences against scholarship details. This matching is automated and happens within the Hub; it is used only to suggest scholarships to you.
• To send scholarship alert emails, if you turn alerts on. We only send an alert when there are new matching scholarships, and we keep a record of what was sent so the same scholarship is not repeatedly emailed to you.
• To send account emails such as sign-up confirmation and password reset messages.
• We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

Email alerts and unsubscribing

• Alert emails are delivered through an email delivery provider. To send them, we share your email address and the content of the email with that provider. We keep delivery records (for example, whether an email was delivered, bounced, or marked as spam) so we can stop sending to addresses that cannot receive mail.
• Every alert email contains an unsubscribe link. Using it turns off alert emails for your account. You can also turn alerts on or off, or change how often you receive them, at any time on your Scholarship Preferences page.

Cookies and browser storage

The Hub uses your browser's storage to keep you signed in and, briefly, to remember which page to return you to after signing in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics tracking.

Where your information is stored

Your account and app data are stored with our secure cloud hosting and database provider. Access to your data is restricted so that you can only see and change your own preferences and saved scholarships. A small number of TSAP administrators can manage scholarship listings and view the email delivery records needed to operate alerts.

External scholarship websites

The Hub lists scholarships offered by universities, governments, and other organisations. Applications are completed on those providers' own websites, not on TSAP Scholarship Hub. When you follow a link to an external site, any information you give there is handled by that provider under their own privacy practices, which we do not control. Please review their privacy policies before applying.

Your choices and controls

• Update or clear your scholarship preferences at any time on the Preferences page.
• Save and remove saved scholarships at any time on the Saved Scholarships page.
• Turn email alerts on or off, change their frequency, or unsubscribe using the link in any alert email.
• Reset your password using the Forgot password link on the sign-in page.
• If you signed in with Google, you can manage that connection from your Google account settings.
